Alpe di Siusi
The Alpe di Siusi is one of the most popular hiking holidays destinations for the whole family. It lies in the heart of the Dolomites, encircled by the Sciliar (German: Schlern), the Sassolungo (German Langkofel, Ladin Saslonch) and by the Catinaccio. Alpe di Siusi is the biggest upper level mountain pasture in Europe and offers many sunny hiking regions in the heart of the Dolomites; the mountain bike fans can feel well in the splendid paths in the South Tyrolean mountains. The holidays region of Alpe di Siusi consists into three mountain resorts: Castelrotto (German Kastelruth, ladino Ciastel), the famous "Kastelruther Spatzen" music group birthplace, together with other mountain resorts like Siusi allo Sciliar (German Seis am Schlern) or Fié allo Sciliar (German Völs am Schlern).
